summary of second half of trip =)

Wed 20 Dec
- Gave out CDs in Shiodome, Media district.
- Intense spiritual warfare there. Many of us were unable to give out the required CDs because people's hearts have been very hardened. Many rejections, and I even experienced a couple laughing in my face and throwing the CD away in the bin near to me. It was quite crushing, but thank God for sustaining us, giving us joy, and helping us to press on for Him!
- At night we travelled about an hour to Tokorozawa to meet Uncle Louis and family. They are OMF missionaries from Melvyn's church, who also know my uncle (who's serving in Hokkaido). They gave us a delicious home-cooked meal (coffee jelly and milk is very yummy!!!), shared with us about their ministry (very encouraging what they doing in the house churches there!) and blessed our marriage with a prayer.

Thurs 21 Dec
- Gave out CDs in Hibiya. quite good, many people were receptive to taking our CDs
- Went to a CCC Christmas Party Outreach in Mitaka.
- Jeremiah, a stinter from the US, and Victor, a stinter from Singapore, led the night's program. Mostly gospel songs and Christmas carols sung with a twist. Jeremiah also shared his tesimony and gospel message in a very refreshing and down-to-earth way. The singing was amazing - not just the staff were singing, but also students - both Christian and pre-believers! In fact, Victor told me that getting them involved in the program was a way of building relationships with these students who are interested in music in general.

Friday 22 Dec
- Gave out CDs in Tokyo station. THANK GOD we finished giving out all our CDs! It was amazing! God really brought the people, and we were able to give out in record breaking time. =)
- After lunch Mel and I went to Shibuya for some last-day shopping and photo-taking. =)
- In the evening, the whole team met for de-brief, sharing and prayer with Kazu, the Japan CCC National Director. He and Abraham (our team leader) treated us to a delicious sushi dinner! =D
- After dinner, it was back to our hotel room to pack for the next day... but mel and i had some time to ourselves to just share more of all we have felt and learned this past week, and to give thanks.

Sat 23 Dec
- We had time to spare after checking out, so we went to Shijuku to just walk along the streets and enjoy the sights and sounds of Japan. it was good to just walk and observe people, and it was quite nostalgic for me, cos I really love this city, and it was our last morning already...
- Then we left for the airport early. Good thing too, cos it was PACKED! we had to queue over an hour just to get through customs etc. bleah...
- thank God for a safe trip back (although not too comfy) =b i enjoyed watching beauty and the beast on the plane, and was reminded once again of how fragile and precious love is, and so this Christmas, i want to encourage us all to take time to love the family and friends and other halves in our lives. yes, Christmas is about Jesus, but let's not get caught up in all the church stuff we have to lead or do on this day, but remember to love the people around us as well =)

Pics will be up really soon! =)
